Renovation photos from this week’s project on the Donegal coast

Launching ready for this summer…this is Miki’s cottage in West Donegal. It has a beach on its land that is effectively private. This week we’ve futted the kitchen and the utility. Worked on the new bathroom and painted the outside.

Bringing traditional colours back to Miki’s cottage

In the 1980s this traditional cottage lost its limewash and original roof to a grey tin covering and grey cement render. We’ve brought back traditional colour with oxide paint and limewash on the unrendered walls.
