It’s the end of another busy year for all our property owners. Here are the top 10 UTT properties of 2019 with some of our lovely reviews from the guests who stayed there over the year.
1. Bwthyn Trehilyn
“A wonderful property with such a friendly feel. Everything was perfect and we loved the underfloor heating. The surrounding countryside was stunning and lots of places to visit.”
2. Blaen y Buarth
“What a wonderful cottage! Incredible views, peaceful and very homey – loved having the log burner roaring away in the evening. Lots of room, whilst still feeling cosy, just two of us staying but could easily accommodate a family or group of friends. Great walks within easy reach, will definitely be back!”
3. Pwll Pendre
“This was our 3rd stay at the beautiful Pwll Pendre and it wont be our last, its hard to find somewhere totally unspoilt , its a rare gem. The house keeping was spot on, everything there we needed, took our dog this time, and she relaxed into it straight away, wonderful walks in beautiful countryside, i only wish the deeds were mine.”
4. Melin Trehilyn
“We have stayed in many holiday homes but never one like this. The mill is light and airy and comfortably warm and the garden is delightful. What particularly struck us was the tranquility- lovely to come home to after a day’s walking. The care and attention to detail taken during the building’s restoration has paid off and is a credit to all concerned.”
5. Gallestra
“Gallestra is a magical place, very secluded, with only the sheep for company as you enjoy the wonderful view. The weather was very mixed for our stay, as you would expect in Wales, but there was still masses for us to do – beach days, mountain walking, lakeside sitting, forest exploring, slate mines, steam trains, pub food…I could go on. A great holiday for a family (and a dog). We left wishing we had more time to stay.”
6. Fron Fach
“Second visit- absolutely perfect. Cannot fault one thing. Only went out for 1/2 day to visit family in Cardigan and walk the dogs on Poppit. Spent the rest of the 4 days in the garden. Great kitchen to cook in. Awesome bed to sleep in. We have stayed in October with a weekend of Rain and now July with a week of sun and loved both visits. We shall be returning. Thanks for letting us stay here.”
7. Beudy Aeron
“We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The family room gave wonderful views over the valley opposite and we spent a lot of time enjoying the view and watching the Red Kites that floated in the sky around the cottage and in the valley. Perfect place to stay if you want to just relax and enjoy the Welsh countryside. Easy to get to Aberaeron by car or bike and enjoy the coast as well.”
8. Tenby House
“A great holiday in a wonderful location. The house is very well equipped for all ages from toddlers to seniors and very easy to live in. A perfect location in Tenby – turn right out of the front door for the beaches and harbour, and left for the town – just a few steps ether way. The Tenby coastline is stunningly beautiful and just taking in the views of beaches, cliffs and blue sea is life enhancing. We are sure to come back.”
9. Cae Einion
“Cae Einion was simply bliss. For us it was only an hour away from home, but seemed a world away! Such a beautiful location, in the foothills of Cadair Idris & a perfect few hours were spent sitting reading just glancing up at the hills and the changing weather. We had stunning weather, but it’s Wales & a little bit of rain wouldn’t have stopped us from walking Cadair pony path, the lakes, Abergywnant Woods, walks in Tal-y-Bont, etc. We took all our food with us and only ventured into Dolgellau once for milk- a lovely, friendly town. We can’t thank Megan enough for this wonderful holiday. And the digital detox was perfect.”
10. Pen y Parrog
“Pen-y-Parrog has a most spectacular location. It’s a very unique place to stay with the garden meeting the seashore. The best beach for skimming stones in the world. The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. Local walks nearby are fabulous and amenities at the doorstep made out holiday very relaxing.”
